2 Hour Challenge- My Life During the COVID-19 Pandemic

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (Oct. 13, 2020, 9 p.m.) -- My life, like many other students has been turned upside due to the pandemic. I always imagined having a picture-perfect senior year full of memories. Unfortunately, I find myself sitting in a small apartment with little interaction with others. I expected to spend time with my sorority sisters, attend football games, study at the library until I got kicked out when it closed, and eat the many restaurants on campus.

Instead, I wake up and log onto my laptop so I can attend classes on zoom. I grocery shop about once a week so I can make myself food and occasionally order from Coffaro's. I spend time with my roommate and her kitten and occasionally spend time with our close friends. In a normal day, I do not leave my apartment for anything. I have had many friends contract the virus which made me very aware of the presence of the virus in Slippery Rock.

I prepare food in my kitchen to avoid endangering myself or others by eating at a restaurant.

My roommate's kitten, Mamba plays with with his toy with me.

I use many colors of pens and highlighters in my best attempt to stay organized while school is entirely online.

I, Abby Mueller, describe my experiences and daily life during the pandemic.
